Teddy
K9 Teddy is a German Shepherd who is certified in narcotics detection and patrol capabilities (criminal apprehension, tracking and evidence recovery).
He was born in the Czech Republic in June of 2015, and joined the Virginia Police Department two years later, where he is partnered with Officer Nick Grivna. K-9 Teddy’s bark is loud enough that it’s convinced some bad guys to surrender.
Away from work, he likes to use that same bark to tell deer to stay out of his yard. His favorite toy is a tennis ball.
